Environmental Monitoring &
Ecological Indicators for Rhode Island

The Partnership for Narragansett Bay hosted two workshops designed to:

• Monitoring Workshop (June 21) -- Inventory current projects and programs in environmental monitoring for the state to identify strengths and gaps in our tracking of ecosystem condition.
• Indicators Workshop (October 12) -- Developing Ecological Indicators: Vital Signs for Narragansett Bay and Coastal Ponds. We will develop a framework to create and implement indicator(s) of the ecological integrity of Narragansett Bay and coastal ponds.
