Migrating Climate. The yellow and red arrows track approximations of temperature regimes under low and high emissions scenarios, respectively, through the coming century. Seasonal Snow Cover. The area delineated in red represents the historical area with snow cover (at least a trace of snow on the ground) for more than 30 days per year.  At the higher emissions scenario, this seasonal snow cover area will retreat to high latitudes and elevations.
